Welcoming Shelly Chamberlain as MAPE’s Director of Human Resources

At Pierson Henry, we know that great organizations are built by great people. That's why we're excited to congratulate the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (MAPE) on the appointment of Shelly Chamberlain, SHRM-SCP, to its leadership team as Director of Human Resources.

Shelly is an accomplished human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations build strong, engaged, and high-performing workplaces. Her expertise spans employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and workforce strategy, with a career dedicated to strengthening organizations from the inside out.

Throughout her career, Shelly has championed people-centered leadership, believing that when employees feel supported, valued, and empowered, organizations are better equipped to fulfill their mission. She brings a thoughtful balance of strategic vision and practical implementation, along with a deep commitment to fostering healthy workplace cultures where collaboration and trust can thrive.

As MAPE continues its important work advocating for Minnesota's public employees, investing in exceptional internal leadership is critical. Strong human resources leadership not only supports employees but also helps organizations navigate change, develop future leaders, and build the organizational capacity needed to serve their members well.

It was a privilege for Pierson Henry to partner with MAPE throughout this search. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the Board and leadership team to identify a candidate whose experience, values, and leadership style align so well with MAPE's mission and future.

Hearty congratulations to Shelly on this exciting new chapter, and congratulations to MAPE on welcoming such an experienced and mission-driven leader. We look forward to watching the positive impact Shelly will make for the organization and the members it serves.
