Tri-Valley Opportunity Council CEO to Leave in June, Interim Chosen Prior to Search for Permanent Replacement
CROOKSTON, Minn. — Jason Carlson, CEO of non-profit Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, will be leaving the community action agency in June. Carlson is leaving to pursue an opportunity outside of the community action network, a press release said. He will stay at Tri-Valley through June 20, when Charles Reynolds will take up the role of interim CEO. Reynolds was chosen by the Tri-Valley Board of Directors, and his appointment as interim is pending approval from Head Start, the release said. Reynolds previously served as Tri-Valley’s attorney and now is a consultant for the non-profit. He also worked as the city of Crookston’s city administrator from 2022 to 2024.
Tri-Valley will work with Pierson Henry, a search firm experienced with rural Minnesota, to find a permanent replacement for Carlson, the release said.
