The Aim: The healthcare Foundation was preparing for the retirement of its long-time Executive Director and needed support planning for leadership transition, clarifying its post-capital campaign vision, and ensuring strong board alignment. Recruiting for a rural Minnesota community added an additional challenge in attracting top philanthropic talent.

The Outcome: Within three months of partnering with Pierson Henry’s Founding Partner Katrina Pierson, the Foundation successfully completed its first capital campaign and adopted a new strategic plan with active working committees. Following the hire of a new director, Katrina supported onboarding, team alignment, and leadership coaching—laying the groundwork for a refreshed visual brand and a renewed sense of purpose across the board and staff.
